Competitive on price, impressive from day one

A project came up at Siemens Technology in Llanberis, close to Hogan. They came in very competitively on price when asked to quote for a basement and foundations package. I have been really impressed with them from day one.

Responsive and on the ball.

They are very responsive, getting back to me exactly as requested. They ask very detailed questions, especially with more complex or unusual materials, which gave me real confidence that they were looking into everything properly. They also worked closely with suppliers downstream to get mixes right – a real sign of going the extra mile.

Concrete on site, on time – so gangs and pumps are never left waiting.

Getting the mix designs approved with the client was straightforward, and on site there were no issues at all. The concrete always arrived within the specified time limits, which is critical for us because we can have a gang of five or six lads and a concrete pump waiting, and delays cost us money.

I’ve had no negative feedback from site – I normally hear very quickly if there is a problem with supply. The quality of Hogan concrete has been consistently good – with other suppliers we have had concrete arrive too wet or too dry, but we have not had that issue with Hogan, and all the test cubes have performed as expected.

I have been impressed with their communication, their reliability and the fact that their prices remain competitive.
