Four Brothers. One Legacy.
It began with four brothers — Brian, Peter, Terry and Colin.
Raised with strong working-class values, they saw an opportunity in tarmacing and laying drives for local families. There was no grand business plan, no shortcuts, and no guarantees – just handheld rollers, determination, and the courage to knock on doors.
They learned everything from the ground up: the roads, the materials, the craft, and most importantly, the value of doing a job properly. Long days turned into late nights. Early starts became a way of life. Years spent working every corner of the business built not only experience, but an instinct for quality that still guides and protects our customers today.
One simple promise shaped everything: “Do things right.”
That promise became the foundation of Hogan
Built through decades of hard graft, craft, pride, skill, and commitment. That’s where our standards were born.

Every Hogan has earned their place the same way the brothers did — starting from the bottom, working on the gangs, in the rain, with a shovel in hand. Early mornings, long days, and learning every detail of the job firsthand.
Because in our family, we believe you cannot truly understand or respect someone’s work unless you’ve done it yourself.
What the brothers built was never just a company.
