I’m Llion Roberts, Production & Technical Manager at Hogan Group, and I’ve been part of the team since 2008. Over the years, I’ve grown with the business, taking on responsibility for production planning, quality control and technical support across our quarries and product lines. My role is all about making sure customers get the best possible product for their specified schedule, with quality control at every stage.
Whether aggregates, asphalt, or ready-mix concrete, I work closely with our site teams, sales staff, and logistics partners so projects keep moving without delay.
On a day-to-day basis, I oversee quality and production processes, respond to technical queries from clients and colleagues, and keep a close eye on stock across our sites. If a customer needs guidance on the right material for a specific application, or has a question about compliance or performance, I’m often the person they speak to. I take pride in being approachable, solution-focused and calm under pressure, especially when deadlines are tight or on-site conditions are challenging.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about health, fitness and being outdoors. I’m a regular at the gym, and when I’m not training, you’ll often find me on my motorcycle, exploring new routes. One of my most memorable trips was a seven-day ride across Europe, travelling through seven countries and covering around 3,000 miles in just a week – an experience I’ll never forget.
