I joined the Hogan team in December 2019. As Vehicle and Plant Manager, I’m responsible for overseeing the maintenance, compliance and performance of our entire fleet and plant equipment, making sure every vehicle and machine is fit for purpose and ready to support Hogan projects across North Wales.
A big part of my job is putting the right systems and checks in place so that we minimise downtime, stay on top of legal and safety requirements and keep things operating as efficiently as possible. That experience builds on more than 20 years I spent in workshop control roles before joining Hogan, and it’s helped me bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to the role.
Alongside my work, I’m continuing my professional development and currently studying for a foundation degree in Mineral Extractives Technology at the University of Derby – a commitment that reflects how seriously I take both the industry and my own learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy running and spending quality time with my family and friends.
A fun highlight for me was being named Manager of the Season when Bryngwran Bulls FC won the Anglesey and North Gwynedd Sunday League in the 2014/2015 season – a reminder of what good teamwork and commitment can achieve, on and off the pitch.
