Brendun Hogan

Head of Sales

I’m Brendun Hogan, and I’ve been proud to play my part as permanent member of the Hogan Group since September 2011. I spent many summer holidays beforehand, working as a yard man, painter and in dispatch. As I left school, before starting college I worked on the gangs for a while learning all the elements of surfacing and minor civils works.

From day one, I’ve been drawn to the commercial heartbeat of the business – working with customers, understanding their projects and making sure they get the aggregate, concrete and asphalt they need, when they need it.

My role centres on sales and client relationships, with a particular focus on managing and developing our existing customers and key accounts.

I’m responsible for shaping and delivering sales strategies that help us hit our revenue targets while opening new opportunities for the group, always with an eye on long-term partnerships rather than quick wins. I work closely with our marketing team to create high-quality materials that reflect who we are as a business and clearly show the value we bring to every project.

Day to day, my role is about making sure that our customers get the kind of service they’d expect from a family firm with nearly 60 years behind it. Whether I’m supporting customers with advice, coordinating with our internal teams for a smooth delivery or helping plan the next phase of their growth, I’m driven by the same values the business was built on – hard work, honesty and doing right by our customers.

Away from work, football has always been a big part of my life. I’ve come back from two ACL surgeries, and I’m still as passionate as ever about the game. I’ve recently started my coaching badges and taken the Penrhos + Bangor 1876 u6 team for the up-and-coming season.

One of my proudest achievements is representing Ynys Môn at the NatWest Island Games in Jersey 2015 and Gotland 2017 – a fantastic experience and a reminder of what it means to compete for your community. The other was scoring in the Welsh trophy final winning the treble 2017/18 season.

Above all, I’m a family man, and there’s nothing I value more than time away on holiday with the people who matter most.
