FAQ

Why does concrete aggregate quality matter?

Concrete aggregates carry most of the load and largely determine overall strength and durability. Poor stone or sand pushes up water demand, weakens the mix and increases the risk of cracking and spalling.

Because aggregates form most of the concrete volume, their grading and cleanliness dictate how the slab or structure behaves over time.

Good-quality aggregates help the mix compact tightly, cut voids and shrinkage, and make placing and finishing more straightforward on site.
